District 6 and Voting Info
THE DISTRICT 6 RACE IS UNDER CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION BY THE DALLAS DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR MAIL-IN BALLOT FRAUD

We know which two campaigns are engaged in this despicable practice targeting vulnerable elderly and disabled Hispanic and African-American voters. At the current time, the District Attorney's Office and  the Dallas County Elections Department REFUSES to give candidates any information on the investigation so  this situation hangs over HONEST campaigns like a huge, dark cloud.

As of Thursday, April 27, 2017, 828 votes have been cast in this race, 247 in-person ballots and 581 mail-in ballots.  Please click this LINK for the Early Voting Roster, which will be uploaded to this site DAILY.

In a district where 1,172 total votes were cast in 2015, 870 in 2013, and 1,037 in 2011 (again, we're the LOWEST voting district of all 14 council districts), to have roughly half of the numbers recorded on the FIRST day doesn't pass the 'smell test'. A campaign wants to win very BADLY and is willing to defraud vulnerable senior citizens and the disabled.

Please contact...

Faith Johnson, Dallas District Attorney at 214-653-3600 AND
Toni Pippins-Poole, Dallas County Elections Department  Elections Administrator at 214-819-6300

...and DEMAND the following:

1. TRANSPARENCY regarding the criminal investigation!!

2. INVALIDATE all mail-in ballots, contact those voters to authenticate if they requested a mail-in ballot without their knowledge or by intimidation, harassment, or coercion, which is expressly prohibited by Section 11(a)(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965

The Linus Spiller Campaign filed an official complaint on Wednesday, April 27, 2017. with the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division citing violation of Section 11(a)(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Please contact...

Tom Wheeler, Acting Assistant Attorney General at
202-514-4609

...and DEMAND immediate federal intervention in the form of Election Observers to assist the Dallas County Elections Department with contacting every voter who cast a mail-in ballot for authencity.

Thank you for your support and together we can STOP illegal vote harvesting. It has NO place in our democracy.
